In the disused Rapide Hall, where railway history was once written, a modern and one-of-a-kind casino is set to emerge – the first of its kind in Switzerland. The vision for Casino Winterthur deeply incorporates the site’s rich history. Locomotives produced on the premises were prepared for shipment all over the world – including in Hall Rapide, the future home of Casino Winterthur. It is precisely here that the “Loki” stands – a design piece that recalls the site’s industrial heritage and continues the story. In the heritage-protected Hall Rapide, a unique place of experience and encounter is being created – where tradition and modernity come together in an extraordinary way.
