Léo Dafflon is the Swiss Poker Champion 2025

The live final of the Swiss Poker Championship 2025 took place this weekend at Swiss Casino Zürich. Léo Dafflon triumphed over a strong field of competitors and secured the title of Swiss Poker Champion 2025. The final also marked the highlight of the fifth anniversary of this popular Swiss poker tournament series.
On 14 and 15 June, the 27 best poker players in Switzerland competed in the grand final. In the run-up to the event, more than 600 qualifying tournaments, Twister formats and cash games were held online at swisscasinos.ch. A total of 3,750 players took part in the qualifiers to claim one of the coveted final spots.
After two intense days filled with tactical skill, thrilling showdowns and spectacular hands, the three finalists agreed to split the prize money of CHF 360 000. In the end, Léo Dafflon prevailed and, alongside the prestigious title, also won a ticket for the Main Event in Barcelona, worth €5300.
The winner enthused: “It’s an incredible feeling. I can hardly put it into words.” He added: “You need a bit of luck to win a tournament like this. I’ll definitely be back next year.”
The other final places were also handsomely rewarded: Kevin Röthlisberger claimed second place and Shiro Mangold came third. Both players received a ticket for the Main Event in Barcelona as well as prize money of over CHF 10 000 each.
In total, nine tickets for poker events in Barcelona were awarded, along with cash prizes for all 27 finalists.
With a guaranteed total prize pool of around CHF 550 000, including CHF 100 000 sponsored by Swiss Casinos for the final, the tournament offered a strong incentive for ambitious players from all over Switzerland.
Following the successful conclusion of this anniversary edition, attention is already turning to the future: poker fans can now look forward to the Swiss Poker Championship 2026.
