Marc Noël Stocker wins the Swiss Poker Championship 2026
The live final of the Swiss Poker Championship 2026 took place over the weekend of 13 and 14 June at Swiss Casino Winterthur. After two intense days of tournament play, Marc Noël Stocker prevailed against strong finalists and claimed the title of Swiss Poker Champion 2026.
On Saturday and Sunday, the qualified poker players of this year’s Swiss Poker Championship met at Swiss Casino Winterthur. They competed for the prestigious title of Swiss Poker Champion 2026 as well as a prize pool of around CHF 100 000.–, sponsored by Swiss Casinos and including international poker event tickets.
The 36 participants had previously qualified online for the live final via the Swiss Casinos Poker App. The road to the final led through various SPC Steps, Cash Games, Twister formats, leaderboards and Wild Cards. Once again, the Swiss Poker Championship offered poker fans from across Switzerland the opportunity to qualify online for one of the most important live finals on the Swiss poker scene.
After an exciting final day featuring a remarkable comeback and an impressive run during the three-handed finale, the decision came on Sunday evening: Marc Noël Stocker prevailed at the crucial moment and secured not only the title but also CHF 15 000.– in prize money, a TUDOR wristwatch and a poker event ticket for the Main Event in Barcelona worth € 5300.
His journey from a shorter chip stack on the final day to the top of the field will be particularly memorable. After steadily building his stack throughout Day 1, Marc Noël Stocker started the final day among the last nine players from a position near the bottom of the chip count. Over the course of the day, however, he gradually accumulated chips, managed his stack skilfully and, above all, demonstrated his class during three-handed play. There, he fought his way from short stack to chip leader and then made consistent use of that advantage in the heads-up match.
The decisive hand ultimately came in an all-in situation before the flop: Marc Noël Stocker held a pair of jacks, while his opponent held a pair of fives. The community cards even improved Stocker’s hand to three of a kind. Throughout both tournament days, the new Swiss Poker Champion 2026 displayed composure, patience and a keen instinct for the decisive moments.
Following his victory, Marc Noël Stocker said he was delighted but also exhausted. He is particularly looking forward to the Main Event in Barcelona and thanked the organisers for the tournament.
The other top finishers were also rewarded generously. Second and third place each received a poker event ticket for the Main Event in Barcelona as well as substantial prize money. In total, nine international poker event tickets to Barcelona were awarded during the live final.
With the final day in Winterthur, the Swiss Poker Championship 2026 reached its climax. Once again, the tournament format combined online qualification with the atmosphere of live poker, making the Swiss Poker Championship a special poker event for players from all over Switzerland.
